This blog is just a conversation about ideas and thoughts which are all my own.

I am a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ. I am a wife of one husband. I work in student christian ministry and I love to write, read and drink fresh strong coffee.

There are two things I would like this blog to achieve:

1. Drawing people to Christ – I want to show people Christ and the love he has for them, whether Christian or not. I want to encourage people to read the bible and see Christ, to enjoy the community of the trinity through Christ and to enjoy being a Christian because of Christ. This is about bringing the sunshine of the Gospel into our hearts and warming our hearts by the love that Christ has for us. It is good news and I want to share it and invite you to enjoy this relationship as well.

2. Engaging with culture – As a Christian I feel its hugely important that we must not ignore culture or art of any form because we don’t like it or don’t understand it. We need to engage with it and recognise that there are people behind the art and culture and that this really does affect people in their thinking and lifestyle. Most of all Christians need to know how to engage with it well. I don’t think I have all the answers, but I want to create a platform where we can start talking about these ideas and questions.

Lastly I hope this blog displays some of the mundane and funny things in life. We are not to take ourselves too seriously and God has given us plenty of things to enjoy and laugh about.
